Wednesday and Thursday August 22 and 23 parts of CCPRC will be temporary closed to allow a survey crew
to work safely. The survey work is being done in preparation of various projects we will undertake in the future which include improving drainage for the rifle/pistol bays and for the
shotgun fields as well as future berm work in the pistol/rifle area. We will also be getting elevation readings on the tops of the berms in several places so we can monitor the erosion of the berms
as they age. We need to make sure they maintain appropriate safety heights.
On Wednesday August 22 all skeet and trap fields will be closed from 7:30 am until about
2:00 pm. There is a chance they could be closed longer, however they should be open by 5:00 pm. The sporting clay course will not be affected and will open at 10:30 am and be open to
7:00 pm on Wednesday.
On Thursday August 23 the rifle range and all pistol and rifle bays will be closed from
7:30 until the survey crew is finished with the work in that area of the club (hopefully by 5:00 pm). The gate to the back of the club will be turned off while the surveys are
doing the work in the pistol/rifle areas. I hope everyone understands we can not have anyone shooting when there are surveyors walking on the ridge tops of the berms.
As a reminder only immediate family members can be listed on your family membership.
CCPRC defines this as spouse and children that are under age 21 or are in college if over the age of 21.
If your gate card is not working, please come into the
office to check on your renewal status. If you are current it may be that your card has gone bad, which happens on occasion, we can replace it in that case.
Please remember when you are finished shooting in a bay or the rifle range to remove any targets you attached to the target boards and place them in a trash barrel. With the spring
windy season upon us it will help keep the club looking cleaner and will keep us from having to close the range or several bays at a time to clean targets off of the berms (where the wind takes
Please make a best effort to pick up your shotgun hulls and place in the trash or a hull bucket (on shotgun fields), doing so helps the club look it's best and
saves us money in labor cost.
Thanks, have fun and stay safe!
Please stay on the new improved road when you traverse to and from hanging targets in the rifle range.
If you want to shoot your shotgun with anything other than slugs or buckshot in bays 6-9 you will need to bring your own target stands. The rules do not allow for
the use of bird shot being fired at the clubs target backer boards in any bay or range. If you want to pattern your shotgun we have a pattern board next to shotgun field one. We now have
target stands with backers for rent at the club house.
